National Library Week

Welcome to National Library Week! Obviously, we love our libraries every day of the year but it is good to have an event to showcase our devotion!

Have you been into the library this week and seen the posters showing the library's worth? Check it out:

- Libraries produce $4 in value for each $1.

- Volunteers contributed 30,867 hours.

- 198,154 people attended library programs, including 163,324 children.

- Children spent 5.6 million minutes on library computers.

- Every 1.5 seconds, people use the library.

- Librarians answered 1 million questions.

- Three times more people visited libraries than attended live sports events.
